The first two pictures are of the Boarding House, then and now.

On my jogging route I pass here on the return leg, sometimes I have to put on my mental blinkers to get past this point without being attacked by a deep sense of sadness bought about by the good memories of the time, and the recognition that these semi-abandoned buildings only retain any value to those who remember a different time.

Lovely old pic of the boarders which has unfortunately suffered some depreciation in quality due to initial scanning and subsequent shrinking in size to be able to fit in and not take huge amounts of downloading time.

Thanks to Richard Holley who made the recording, kept it all these years and then sent it to me. Richard was one of the more supportive PaP site people, and he will be missed.
